Catherine’s passion for her enterprise is fueled by the love that she has for her children… a resource that we all have in our toolbox. We have more commonality than we often realize.

Catherine Monceaux created Shabby Lane Shops 4 years ago, with a desire to work from home with her children, but at the same time create and provide affordable advertising for other small business owners like herself. As the online shopping mall that she created grew, also the need for reaching other audiences grew.
She created Shabby Lane Shops magazine which quickly transformed into a newsstand magazine and was very well received by many. She also participates in shows selling her shops inventory and marketing to thousands in person. She has been on TV several times, and presented her members products and samples to several celebrities, including Leeza Gibbons & Deidre Hall. She publishes the magazine from her home, the articles are written by the shop owners, and is a very unique publication.
It is amazing that so many people that are so far in distance can work together so closely and create a beautiful magazine together. After being on the newsstands for over a year, the magazine and Shabby Lane Shops continues to grow. Shabby Lane Shops is also in the Apple newsstand for iPad, iPod & iPhone. Shabby Lane Shops continues to add new benefits and services, most recently offering web hosting & web design. A complete start up for new businesses and marketing and promotion for all businesses.
