How to Think Like a Parent Powerhouse

January 27, 2016 By Ally

Parents, you really are SUPER HUMAN!

I have to keep reminding you of this because I don’t think you QUITE GET IT. It seems every day I am talking with a mom or a dad who is feeling incompetent and insufficient. These same days I see resilient parents problem-solving and thinking creatively to make significant improvements in the world.

Either there is a large divide between the exceptional and the inadequate, or there is still a large percentage of you who are still not giving yourself the credit that you deserve.

It’s all about the MINDSET.

Being aware of your own mood is half the battle. Learning to adjust yourself and react in a positive manner is the other half. How self-aware are you?

Check yourself against this list:

1. Are you in alignment?

When you are in “The Happy Zone” problems won’t phase you. Even before a solution completely manifests itself, those who are in balance and harmony are able to surrender and allow situations to unfold with the greatest of ease. On the contrary, when you can’t seem to keep up with the challenges, you are most likely being over powered by your insecurities.
Remember: Anything can happen. When you have the right tools, you will be okay with whatever shows up.

2. Are you mindful of your vibration?

Check your mood. Is it being affected by what’s happening in your life? Powerful manifestors do not allow the conditions of the current reality to dictate their internal compass. YOUR MOOD MUST BE INDEPENDENT OF YOUR EXPERIENCE or you will not be able to receive insight into a challenging situation. You must be willing to have whatever you are projecting be echoed back to you.

3. Do you believe that ANYTHING is possible?

We can’t always predict the forces of the universe, and if you try, you might just make yourself crazy. Parents, we all tend to be control freaks and SURRENDER is not easy to do when you have kids to look after and a business to keep afloat…but you CAN actively take charge of your outcome by allowing yourself surrender to the unexpected— even if it defies all logic.
