Summer Activities for Kids– THAT MAKE MONEY!!

Welcome to CAMP MOMMY! We are knee deep into summer and for many of us, our roles have transitioned from mom-preneur to mom-cierge. Our businesses may have to be scaled back during this time of year, but the work load hasn't decreased one iota. In my kid's world, Camp Mommy is filled with all sorts of busy activities: free bowling days, $1 movie days, water fun-filled play dates, concerts in the park, and indoor crafts (on those brutal-can't-go-outside-scorching HOT days). It's A LOT of work to keep my kids entertained! Do your children appreciate what a PRIVILEGE it is to have you at home? We already know the positive effects of exposing our children to our work-at-home careers, but it … [Read more...]

Moms, Get Your Sexy Back!!

November 10, 2013 By Ally

Hot mamas know how to work it in the bedroom and in the boardroom! I'd like to think that we've been through enough together and have moved well beyond being embarrassed about asking the tough questions. We know that sex sells and we know that sex heals. So why not use a little sex to up our game in business? For this show, I am bringing on my good friend, Lou Paget, a well known Certified Sex Educator prominently featured on HBO and FOX. This Friday there won't be anything holding us back from telling it like it is... and getting down and dirty. You will LOVE Lou. Beside Lou being a complete blast to spend the hour with,  you will learn things about the world of sex that you didn't … [Read more...]

Master Every Day Etiquette and Social Self-Confidence

November 10, 2013 By Ally

The storm was treacherous, but the rainbow is worth it. Greetings from my new home! I am a bit late in getting this message out to you because I have been busy moving my family into my dream house. For years we have been busting at the seams of the little condo that my husband and I bought when we were first married. Since becoming a growing family of four we have been striving to afford a bigger place. Job losses for both of us as well as the declining real estate market meant that we were destined to stay trapped for years in that tiny condo box for years. At times it felt hopeless, but we didn't give up. We have finally arrived. As laborious and demanding as the journey was, I now feel … [Read more...]

How to Make Passive Income on the Internet

How to Make Passive Income on the Internet

It's no wonder you are skeptical. In my last few months of working in Corporate America I spent my hours sneaking around on the internet, searching for any legitimate income opportunity that would allow me to come home. I had been fighting with my dear sweet husband about my intense desire to give up my stable salary for the freedom to stay home with our newborn son. Leaving our baby in a poorly run home-daycare was just downright painful, and I couldn't do it anymore. I was ready to make some sizable sacrifices to become the full-time caretaker, but without some kind of supplemental income, we couldn't justify the transition. For months, I searched for something stable that would support … [Read more...]

Family Hustle

Family Hustle

We've talked about everything else. Time to make some money. There is just no other way around it. You need to start bringing in an income. But not just any income-- one that matches your hard work and value. You have the idea, but now you need to turn it into cash. You've bartered, you've sacrificed, you've made that leap into self-employment, but you need to see green, and you need to see it N.O.W. I just returned from Tory Johnson's Spark and Hustle Conference, and I am fired up! Forget the small talk, and lets get serious. What matters now is the TENACITY,  the HUSTLE, and the MOOLAH. Its time for you to obtain the missing knowledge that is necessary to cut through the crap and … [Read more...]

The Ideal You: How to Become an Exemplary Version of Yourself as a Parent and an Entrepreneur

The Ideal You: How to Become an Exemplary Version of Yourself as a Parent and an Entrepreneur

What is the ideal you? And how does one become that? This is something you've been hearing me talk alot about recently: The importance of having a role model... or several. True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have and those who have affected us in a way that makes us want to be better people. They affect us because they have touched a part of ourselves that is aching to be stimulated and awakened to its fullest potential. Role models can be real or fictitious. That is right. You have the power to create your ideal and theoretical hero, and you absolutely should. Your hero will advocate for you and your goals. This supreme being takes … [Read more...]

Magazines and Mobile Media for Mompreneurs

Magazines and Mobile Media for Mompreneurs

The biggest regrets come from the failure to think big from the start. Stop and consider for a moment that we really do have access to the same tools and resources- in everything we do. You may not have been born with the natural ability to understand business, but learning the skills that you need to take action is as easy as choosing to absorb new insight. Their are infinite channels of enterprise available worldwide with immediate results at almost no cost - and learning to leverage these channels is worth more than any price tag. It all begins with a little bit of hunger for knowledge. As a busy work-at-home parent, the digital age can be a blessing and a curse. Emerging … [Read more...]

Selling is not a Dirty Word

Selling is not a Dirty Word

Julie Steelman generated over $100 million in sales, left corporate America and retired at a young age to live in Hawaii with her husband. Isn't it time to turn your dream into reality? If you are like me, you hate the idea of selling, no matter what it is.... your products, someone else's products, your services, someone else's services... The very thought of asking someone for money might bring about nausea...and you are not alone.  Then again, you work hard and you are as ready as ever to maximize your profits and boost your bank account balance. Torn much? Its time for us to have the "How to Sell" conversation, and there is no one better to help me with this topic than … [Read more...]

Franchising and Flourishing

Franchising and Flourishing

If you are looking for freedom without the guess work, purchasing a franchise might be a perfect option for you. You want to be your own boss, but the thought of being a CEO might make you shutter. I am not going to convince you otherwise. If there is one thing I have learned from my coaching clients and even some of the callers on the show, its that some people just don’t want to go it alone, and who could blame them? Its life-changing enough when you discover all the added responsibility that goes a long with becoming a new parent.  Why would anyone willingly take on the accountability for an entire company? No, thanks. Just sign me up to do some work for someone and give me a paycheck … [Read more...]
